11:50 – 13:15 Workshops: Shaping Bankable Local Net Zero Projects

Local authorities are set to showcase their net zero project development through a series of work-in-progress case studies, which will be presented to a broad audience. These projects are at different stages of maturity, ranging from early-stage proposals to more developed and advanced initiatives.

The aim of the presentations is to share and workshop emerging new financial models, and to stimulate a broader discussion of the gaps, barriers, and opportunities for funding innovation for Local Net Zero.

Investors invited to join small panels at each workshop will respond directly to the presentations, giving advice and strategic input on how local authorities can shape the next stage of their work to progress and scale investable models. Through this we hope to encourage wider dialogue on the potential for new blended finance models to accelerate Net Zero transformation.
